parts help

I have a boosted d17a2, looking for parts for the head, have the bottom end built, but need cam, valves, springs, retainers, adjustable cam gear, rockers if any one has found any, intake manifold, throttle body, suggestion for injectors, or any other helpful info for building a great boost head....

Re: parts help

Valve springs, and retainers can be used from any d16/d17. Crower and supertech make sets off the top of my head, but there are others. You can get upgraded valves from dezod, but there is really no need unless you are planning to do a 3 angle valve job with over size valves. Crower makes cams, and bisimoto can make you one. No one makes roller rockers. The only intake manifolds options are either to modify a d16 manifold or have Gerry at jdmfabtech make you one. You can have a stock throttle body ported by maxbore, but it is really unnecessary. RC makes injectors, or you can use srt-4 injectors.

Re: parts help

Nope, no advantages that I know of from d16 v. d17 valve springs. Just more options available.
