Need help with tune-up!
Hello i have a 2001 Honda civic ex, My car is at 84,000 miles and i want to give it a full tune-up. I want to know what are the best performance parts. Which is the best motor oil, transmission oil, and spark plugs. Money isn't an issue i just want to put the best parts and fluids in my car. Also for the oil how much weight to i put 5w-20? im not sure please get back to me. I would like to do this tune up this weekend.

on an older car, 5w30 is actually better. stick with valvoline, either conventional or maxlife. stick with honda trans fluid if you have auto, and get some nice iridium spark plugs either denso or ngk.

depends what else you need done. coolant is usually every 5 yrs with the honda stuff, brake fluid is every 3 yrs, trans fluid every 3k/3yrs. you can also check cabin filters, air filter, pcv valve (its cleanable), throttle body and idle air valves cleaning, etc.

Hello everyone. Im wanting to do a tune up on my 2002 Honda Civic DX soon. Does anyone know if they make upgraded performance Ignition coils. I have a 1.7 liter 4 cl engine. Please help. Thank You
