Clutch Times

Well, the civic is around the corner from a clutch job. I was wondering how long the average job takes to finish. Ive never done a clutch job on a civic, but ive done some work on my bimmer. Everyone says its a ton easier, so I think I should be ok.

Can some of you guys gimme some times please, thx.

Re: Clutch Times

Give yourself about 6 hours to do the job, less if you pull the motor.

Re: Clutch Times

Hmm, ok. And since I would have to take out the main axle, if I order a new one (only pax side needs to be replaced) would I just need to slip it back in?

Re: Clutch Times

The axles literally just snap in and out once they are unbolted. You have to take them out to replace the clutch anyway. If you need a new just put the new one in after you are done with the clutch.

Re: Clutch Times

Ok cool. We need to replace the clutch soon so the axle is going to be at the same time then. Thx
