Coming to an end on Civic mods?!...please tell me no!...
Alright guys...it seems like my Civic mod days are coming to an end and I don't want them to. It can't be!...So far I've...
-installed Tenzo R lowering springs
-put Tenzo R rims on it
-installed fog lights
-installed a carbon fiber dash kit
-installed interior illumination
-installed a full catback exhaust
-tinted my windows
-installed an AEM short ram intake
-painted my calipers
-installed blue lug nuts
-painted my engine bay
-installed a Neuspeed upper strut bar
-installed an in-dash dvd player
-installed carbon fiber racing pedals
-changed my shifter bushings to aluminum bushings
-Honda switchblade flip key
Only things left that I can think of are installing a header and swapping out my gauge cluster for the blue glow sedan version.
I don't know what else to do. I love my civic and I love doing mods to my car. Any ideas please let me know...the civic mods can't end...lol...

Re: Coming to an end on Civic mods?!...please tell me no!...
A turbo is a definite thought that i've had, but as far as a k-20 swap...that'd be way down the line. As far as the interior mods go I don't know what else to do anymore on the interior. I could swap out the seats for the rsx leathers, but other than that i don't want to get a new shift ****, steering wheel or things like that although changing the suede on the door panels is an option....Anybody have a page of 2004 honda civic mod lists other than the haynes xtreme customizing book?
Re: Coming to an end on Civic mods?!...please tell me no!...
here are a few technically simple and pretty small but fun projects. theyre also cheap too.
a) 4 gauge wire engine bay grounding kit
b) stereo system if you dont have one (i never seen you mention it)
c) tail light smoking
d) trunk shock kit (so you can install nice rear speakers by getting rid of the tension spring bars and it lifts on its own)
e) hid kit
f) sell me your neuspeed strut bar and your aem short ram intake. ill send you my obx strut bar and ebay generic intake.
g) install a header
h) new front grill
i have pretty much everything there done so if you have any questions you can just ask.

Why do you not want a new shift **** or steering wheel? You can get an EP3 or RSX wheel and keep your airbag, or if you just want to keep the same wheel, you can buy a leather cover for it from handaaccessories.com, they are really nice if you put them correctly. There are lots of stock looking ***** out there too that are much nicer than the civic factory shift ****, same thing for shift boots.

Re: Coming to an end on Civic mods?!...please tell me no!...
1. what would the benefits be of swapping the cam out?...is it a difficult diy?
2. appreciate the input untuned but as for selling my intake and strut bar...i'll pass...haha...appreciate the offer...i love my intake and neuspeed bar...
3. i just can't find a shift **** that i like...I want to convert my whole interior to leather...it is a great idea...i'd do the leather si style shift **** but with blue stitching...that would be raw and then swapping out the seats for rsx seats and then wrapping the steering wheel in leather...that'd look great...
4. as for the switchblade key i got it off ebay and then programmed the lock/ unlock myself...got the key cut....and then at the dealership had them program my immobilizer transponder...i got it off ebay...type in 04 honda civic flip key and buy it from the user artiway...works great for me...
And finally, a couple questions...
-anybody have anymore ideas...i love the input of all the possible mods we could all do on 7th gen civics...
-how difficult is it to bolt in rsx leather seats in the back...i understand how to do the front ones, but how about the back seat?...i'd want it to match...

why dont you get the EL seats? and get the EL sides/or a skirt pckg. Smoke out your front and rear lamps.
Re: Coming to an end on Civic mods?!...please tell me no!...
you can install a rear upper strut tower bar.
if you have a coupe you can install the rear leathers from RSX without too much trouble. but if you have coupe you can't install the Acura EL rear leathers, as these would work for a sedan only.
and if u feel like ure running out of mods... there's always turbo... supercharge.. or swapping in a K20 engine.

Re: Coming to an end on Civic mods?!...please tell me no!...
It's great to bounce ideas around the community and whatnot, you've got some pretty good suggestions so far.. I have to admit though, I kinda chuckled a bit at the 'page of mod lists aside from the haynes manual'.. Customizing your car is just that - making it what you want it to be; not what everyone else is doing, or following a list of mods and bolting **** on.
What about doing some true custom work; remolding some interior panels (door panels, rear seat delete, etc.), a custom backseat/trunk layout for your stereo system, do some exterior mods, etc..? Sure, this **** has been done before but perhaps not like you'll do it. Make you're car how you want it bro, don't just follow the trends and do what everyone else is doing.
