Bolt that holds spare tire

So I had a flat tire a couple weeks ago. The spare was so tight and wouldn't loosen, so the locknut was twisting and bending...basically in the end me and my dad had to break it out so half of the bolt is gone and the locknut is destroyed. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Re: Bolt that holds spare tire

those bolts are hard to find. try and see if the dealer can order you one. or look for similar parts from hardware store.

Investigate this Honda part # 83853-SX0-000 Hold Down,Spare Tire //$6.12

It appears to be the same in coupe and sedan.
