gas question ???

will higher octane gas mix with lower octane gas or will they separate in the tank burning one before the other and if so which first ???

It mixes in the tank, but it may take a little bit of time to mix. Actually, all gas stations draw gas from only two tanks. Even though they offer four different octane ratings. They draw different amounts from the two tanks to achieve a higher/lower octane rating.

I found a great web site on octane by googling it. I think the last part of the website is what your looking for.
