Protruding muffler pipe?

Hey all, i have a 2005 Honda Civic Sedan LX and the bottom of car scratches against the floor when i try to park it in my garage. But i noticed the only thing that scratches it is the muffler pipe. From the looks of it, the pipe is a few inches lower than everything else on the bottom of the car. Is this normal? I'm talking about the part of the muffler pipe thats located at the center of the car by the way, between the driver and passenger doors.

yeah my stock and aftermarket exhaust midpipe sticks way low. i always scrape and i have a big dent in the middle from it. you could get some heat wrap or exhaust bandage and try that, but eventually you will need to replace it again when it tears up.
