oops.....scratched it a little bit...

so my trunk has random minor scratches on it that i dont know how it got there, and when i detagged my car i messed it up a little bit beyond waxing....anything i can do?

put some pics up . depending on how deep the scratches are will determine if they can be buffed out or if you need a body shop.

if paint is still there, use meguiars scratch-x and then a good wax. you may need to apply the scratch-x several times to start seeing a difference, but its very good at removing scratches.

well depending on the depth of the scratch will determine what grit rubbing compound to use then i would use a wool cutting pad to buff it. or you could pay a professional to do it that's what i would do if i was you.
