Spyder brand intake?

Has anybody heard of this brand? I was wondering if they're any good, considering they are extremely cheaply priced. I'm looking for a decent intake, moderately priced, with just that little extra sound...nothing extreme.

never heard of them but i would stick with the tried and tru brands you need a filter that actually filters not just look good. if your low on funds get a cheap ebay kit and put a name brand filter on it AEM , K&N , INJEN ext ect. its the same thing.

Re: Spyder brand intake?

Yeah...I don't really care how it looks, more about how it sounds. So you're saying I should do something like buy these?

Re: Spyder brand intake?

good combination and find james. put those 2 together and you're sure to save some cash.

just keep in mind with it being short ram i'd probably attempt to make some sort of homemade heat shield for it since it's going to be a foot away from your exhaust manifold.

Re: Spyder brand intake?

Spyder is an ok brand. Kinda cheaply manufactured parts. But its probably just as good as any other eBay intake. So you can always go with James suggestion.
