Help With Fog Lights
Couple questions...I am going to install fog lights on my 2004 Civic LX and I heard you can't install fog lights if you have interior illumination. If this is true then I have to choose between fog lights and interior illumination as I have both the parts on their way. Any ideas or truth to this? Also, how do you guys think the fog lights from ebay are? Do they hold up without any leaks and is there any way I can change the fog light bulbs to a 7000k bulb?...Sorry for all the questions, but I appreciate any answers...Thanks ya!

Re: Help With Fog Lights
Mine were from ebay and they are pretty sturdy, all the hardware rusted though, but I though it was coated.... Maybe not, either way everything is good from them but the harness is sketchy at best.
Either way if you buy the fog lights you'll be able to install them with ease. I'm not sure about the 7000k bulbs, but why would you need too?
Also yes, you can have the fog lights and the interior illumination.

Re: Help With Fog Lights
Never heard that about the fog lights and interior lights, of course you can do both. Just don't hook them both to the same fuse or anything.
As for the 7000K bulbs, you're going to need a ballast to increase the power output on that wire in order to get them to burn at that temperature. So you'll need the light kit, not just some bulbs. And if you're using ballasts, you'll need to upgrade all the wiring to it can handle the output.

i usually stick with the ebay fogs, my first set lasted 3 years and then the lens' cracked on the drive from alabama to nevada, so i spent another $30 got a new kit and replaced the housings. i'd just hate to spend the $265 or whatever it is on oem fogs, i know they're better made but what do you do if the lens' on those break? spend another $265 or whatever the cost is?
