how do you know if your car is lx or dx?
I have 2002 civic but dont know if its an lx or dx?

Dx has no power options and is non vtec. Lx has power windows, cruise control, power locks, AC, and keyless entry. There is no difference between DX and VP. Is there such a thing as a 2004 2005 DX?

vp (value package) is an upgraded dx. comes with few more features.

for older models, dx had bare bones features. lx adds rear sway bar, a/c with filtration, power windows/mirrors/door locks, cruise, cassette player, tach, driver seat armrest, dual map lights, and seatback pocket. if you dont have any of these, you have the dx.

the ex adds more features in addition to what comes on the lx including vtec engine, abs, 15 inch wheels, moonroof, height adjustment for driver seat, keyless entry, cd player, stereo anti/theft, rear cup holder.
