n00b slice question...

Yea so I haven't had like any experience with electrical stuff...
When disconnecting my battery to do something like wiring in fog lights what's the proper procedure?
And would I have to worry about things like my alarm going crazy when I do it?

Re: n00b slice question...

I'm a little lost as to what exactly you are wanting to know. Just disconnect the battery. Loosen bolt, pop off connector. No big deal. As for wiring, the best advice I can give is to solder everything. Be sure you have solid connections and never ever half *** electrical stuff. It will lead to electrical gremlins that are a huge PITA to track down. Your alarm should be ok. Mine goes when I reconnect the battery but you just push the deactivate button until it goes off, no problem. Hope that helps.
