Re: blue courtesy key light
i wouldnt bother. the work involved is not worth it at all. taking the lock cylinder out and apart, taking the chance that the outer trim ring will not fit back on properly, and watching for airbag sensors isnt a great idea. not to mention changing the tiny led inside and adjusting the resistance. my sedan actually has green which i hate, id rather have orange. but i dont even see the light so its not a big problem. and its only on when the door opens anyway.

The one inside the cylinder is very dim IMO. You could make a lighted ring around the outside. It will require a lot of LED's to keep the light smooth all the way around though.
