Hello all, I am probably buying a 2004 Civic EX coupe tonight and thought I'd go ahead and join the madness here. A local dealer is selling it to me for 7200 out the door. Seems a bit cheap for what it is, especially from a dealer. 114k miles on it, which is a lot for an 04, so I guess its probably highway miles mostly.
Carfax shows 2 owners already. 2nd owner had it in the shop 3 times within 6 months for some kind of electrical problem, but this was over a year ago, so I'm hoping whatever that problem was is fixed.
Anyway, wish me luck. Obviously I'm planning to check it out as best as I know how before handing over the money. I even plan on taking out the sparks plugs to make sure no oil is on them (had this happen before).
This will be my first 7th gen civic. I used to have a '93 del sol si, but I'm sure this will be a tad different.
