Car Vibrating HELP

hey guys i have a 2002 honda civic lx coupe
i just got new tires and a wheel alignment
when i got my alignment done ( from pepboys ) the guy told me that my front right strut was bent in and that this would cause uneven wear on my tire
now moving onto my question
once i take my car above 75mph it starts to vibrate, if im going under 75mph it is fine. Is this normal with all civics ?
if i were to change the front two struts would this stop the vibrating ?
or can there be something else wrong with my car ?
thanks

Re: Car Vibrating HELP

I had a similar problem with my 2005.

I bought new tires, then I got a bad shake at like 58-62ish, then it would straiten out.

I took it somewhere else and tipped a guy 10 bucks and he re-balanced them and I got to watch, the first guy had it all messed up.

Now its smoothe at all speeds- no shakes- no vibes

When you say you watched the guy do the allignment and balancing what were you looking for? Sounds to me like you should pay the $20 to get her balanced again. I've brought my vic back to Honda after service to be rebalanced because of the same symptoms.

Re: Car Vibrating HELP

Also, there is a little mark (usually a circle- yellow or green or red paint) on the sidewall of the tire, this is a mark put on from the tire manufacturer to be lined-up with the valve stem. It's been my experience if the guy mounting the tires fails to do this, it makes them hard to get balanced correctly.....

Check your sidewalls? Did he line up the lil mark?

Well i too have a similar problem, now i had a crash a while ago were i bent all 4 alloys and snapped my anti roll bar... and bent the wishbone a bit.

Now i got the whole lot changed and i asked if there was any strut damage or offset camber but he said no it was ok.
Now could this just be bad wheel balance? or do you think there is something bent?
