Question LED lightbulbs

Has anyone replaced any of their light bulbs (besides headlights obviously) with LEDs? Im mainly concerned with the license plate light, interior lights, trunk light, third brake light, etc. Im looking for pics also. Ive seen them on ebay etc, I want to see them actually on a civic. Thanks!

Re: LED lightbulbs

i only did my plate lights using 1w warm white jupiter led. its the same brightness and color as stock. as far as using those plug in led bulbs, they are very dim and not safe to use on the outside. the only ones that would prolly be okay is if you get the 1w hi power ones for the parking lights. those will be bright enough. brake and signals stick with filament bulbs. but to be honest, most of those pnp bulbs barely last a few months before burning out. bad construction and poor wiring/heatsinking kill them quickly.

a couple pics of the leds i used from ledsupply.com with a small heatsink.

Re: LED lightbulbs

I got the bulbs from ledautomotive.com
Check out the kit for the climate control lights
My lights turned out just the same as the pic on the site

Also The blue LEDs in my trunk give my 2 12" subs a 836.666 (repeating of course) % increase in awesomeness. That's a real statistic look it up lol

Re: LED lightbulbs

an add-on from my side:

card read lights:

left led, right stock (led is whiter but alot brighter to read something)

interior lights:

i suggest don't look straight into it!

front led, rear stock lightbulb

last one, both interior lights filled with leds

hope this gives you an idea
