New exhaust breaking in ?

So i just got my exhaust set-up installed, Apexi Ws2 full cat back, random tech hi-flow cat, and dc 4-1 header. I've seen many videos on you tube and the sound is much deeper and throatier. Is this due to the exhaust just breaking in and mellowing out ?

Re: New exhaust breaking in ?

Yessiry. I put new exhaust on the Civic and my Tahoe. Civic's exhaust is getting deeper yet raspier and my on my Tahoe I put a 40 series Flowmaster setup and when I drove it the first time I was like "ehh" but, now it sounds like a damn race truck ( it's tucked and dumped with one muffler for the full performance gain) and not that dual, chrome, tipped stuff you see on most trucks with Flows.
