Does any one know what colour the white face cluster goes at night? Just want to make sure the whole face doesn't light up like a dodge cluster and some after markets.

that cluster comes stock ONLY on the 2002 civic sedan. the face is silver and does not glow. the numbers glow a greenish yellow color, which is what sedans come with stock. it will fit any 01-02 civic and any 03-05 civic dx/vp plug and play. for 03-05 civic lx/ex, wires need to be repinned.

The auction syas that it is out of a 2005 SE.(assuming Canadian edition cuz it is in KPH) Do you know if I will still need to repin for an 03 LX. Is it a pain to repin or fairly simple?

Thats not possible, that style of cluster was only made in Canada for the 2002 Civic model year. The 2001 model had a black face, I can confirm however that after 2002 all 2003-2005 models had the new style.

I can also confirm that there was no 2005 SE model. The only models Canucks got were the DX - LX - EX. We did get "SPORT" models but that was only for 2003.

BTW: I have the above cluster. If you want it I will be willing to trade you for your 2003.

well dude just to say be careful if your buying those off ebay. I bid on a few of those and I didn't notice that the guages were in KPH not MPH. I just recently bought a new cluster too so hopefully I'll get mine installed soon. GL on the install and purchase

Dude I cant find any in KM/h all the clusters on eBay are MP/h.

That having been said, come on USA switch to the metric system! all the cool kids are doing it.

canada also has SI and SI-R models as well. the 05 SE should already have the updated LED gauge cluster.

Wow, so much wrong information in here.

I own a 2005 SE coupe and those gauges are in my car. Canada released a Special Edition Civic only in 2005 which added a CD player, power locks and air conditioning to the existing trim level. My car is a DX from the factory but is re-trimmed as a SE due to the added package. So the dealer listing for the car was a SE but the Car Proof report brought it back as a DX.

Those gauges are white....not silver......and glow orange at night.

As Gearbox said we also have the Si and SiR and I don't think we have the EX as this is simply the US version of our <2005 Si. We also have the Si Veloz and Si Reverb which added various body styling packages from the dealership. They also came with a double DIN satellite radio / CD changer.

so then pretty much the canada SE is like the usa VP? vp is just a rebadged dx with a few extras like cd player, keyless, and ac. the SE here in 05 was like a pimped out EX with extra stuff like special rims, spoiler, etc.

Has nothing to do with "sport" model, 6 disc cd play w/ tweeters and different wheels

Oh sorry I completely forgot about the Si and Si-R model lineups. Well it's good to know about this elusive "Special Edition" model, I have yet to see it on Toronto roads. I always believed that they retired the white face cluster after 2002 and had the cooler clusters on all 2003+ Civics. Learn something new everyday


BTW, does your 2005 SE model have the old style tail lights and front lights?
