What I mean by wear is that after time the exhaust note changes. It doesn't stay the same. As the driver you may note notice it much, but you will sound like ****. Well if you want to talk about dependability you bought a Tsudo replica.

Re: DC Sports or Magnaflow

meh, any exhaust will change tone after a while unless it doesn't have packing. The packing inside the muffler gets old, worn out etc and the car gets louder. It's just something that happens. Now, as for him going "cheap", who cares. Friggin' exhaust is friggin' exhaust. They all do the same damn thing. Another thing, i've had 2.5 on my car when I first purchased exhaust, I now have 2.25. NO DIFFERENCE! Backpressure my ***, if you have 3.5 vs. 2.5 maybe but gimme a break your not going to feel the difference between 2.36 and 2.5.

2.5" compared to 2.36"? ....on our cars especially? give me a break...thats so small its not even worth thinking about. when was the last time you checked how much 0.14 of an inch is on a tape measure? i can bet that even if you tried to actually prove the difference, you wouldnt even get a tenth of 1 hp.

after years and years of use, it doesnt matter what kind of exhaust you get...they will ALL slowly wear and tear. ive had this particular one installed for 3 years and it sounds as nice and deep as the day i got it. i even got a comment at the meet i was at this past weekend with some local guys about how deep it sounds. i dont think he got ripped off at all considering i still think i got more than my moneys worth, and its now 3 years later. i guess well see if he thinks he got his moneys worth when he installs it. i know i did, and i paid double what he just did.
