Re: Firewall

Ouch. If I were an ******* I would jump all over this one. That's funny! But yeah, it's the sheet metal that separates the engine bay from the passenger compartment. Just be sure you know what's on both sides of the firewall before you drilling holes into it.

Re: Firewall

lol, my bad... didnt kno it would be a dumb question... i figured it out though.. i was installing fog lights and needed the switch wire to go into the car.. so i ran the wires up the fender, behind the driverside wheelwell, and theres this "hole" that leads perfectly to a rubber seal that leads into the driverside... all in all, its all good

Re: Firewall

There is actually a plug that your supposed to plug them into thats beneath the passenger headlight- the wire is already pulled through the firewall and taped to part of the dash's wire harness behind the cigar lighter.

Re: Firewall

yea, that install follows the OEM ones right? I tried hooking it up to the connector that is taped off in blue right under the pass. headlight, but the connectors dont fit...

so i searched and searched, then realized that there are two types of ebay fogs for our cars... with different connectors.. guess i picked up the wrong ones....

oh well, it works fine now...

Re: Firewall

Hmm, odd. Link to where you found that?

I think mine was a little loose and dint fit perfect- but thats what electrical tape it for- holding stuff together and insurance on stuff being held together, and also water-proofiting connections.
