Harsh ride
Harsh ride
Why 7th generation Civic with stock suspension has such a harsh ride? You can feel every little bump! I drove other cars like Corolla, Lancer and Elantra and their ride quality is much smoother. Do you agree or I'm the only one who think that our stock cars have very stiff ride quality?
Is changing suspension components will fix or reduce this problem? I'm thinking to get Billstein Shocks. Will they improve anything or just will make ride quality even more stiff? Thanks.

Re: Harsh ride
I agree with you. The stock ride is a bit rough. Even the reviews state the same thing. I don't know why exactly. Although, I live in Montreal...I'm pretty sure every car rides rough here. Worst roads in North America. I am lowered 2" and lemmie tell ya, it's really not pleasant. But what are you gonna do?
Re: Harsh ride
Is there is anything to do about rough ride? But unfortunately this forum doesn't seem to be very helpful. I will have to look for the answer somewhere else. Thanks for confirming my thoughts though. Once again I found better communication with Canadian people than with Americans.
Re: Harsh ride
That's quite a ridiculous advise. We don't have any good roads in WI. They all suck, shitty roads are rough and full of potholes. Especially after the monster winter we just had.
Yeah I will blame the car because the ride is way too harsh much worse than most other cars in this segment. No Civic fanboy nuthuggery here. Just telling it like it is.
