So I needed my emissions done by this wednesday and was freakin out because i dont have the money for the k pro. I am throwing so many codes because of my cam, so what i was gonna do is take out my cam last saturday and put in my stock one and see hopefully my car would run normal. Before i was gonna take it out that saturday, i had to run my buddy up to his dealership to drop off his car. My check engine light went off and it was idling fine, i drive around for like an hour and it never came back on. So i said hell, why dont i just try and take it in to the emissions and see if it will pass. I took it in, the guy shut the car off, and i was like great, now it wont start and my check engine light will come back on. He plugged the obd ll in, started my car. I was like holy Sh*t, no check engine light!! The guy sits there for a bit, revs it to like 3 grand, turns my car off, tells me to pull formard to test my gas cap. Then he turns to me and says, all right congrats you passed. I was like what, really. So i payed and left, not a mile after i left there my check engine light came back on!!! what F in luck is that!!!

I used to have an Integra with a B16 in it that had given me all kinds of emissions problems. I forget the specific numbers but they were nearly off the charts. I never had any check engine codes but what got me to pass was a quarter tank of premium gas and a pint of rubbing alcohol.

After the rubbing alcohol, my car was reading like a new car. You never know.
