Battery Light Always On, About To Do State Ref Check.
ok well my battery light has been on for about a couple of months, honda said that one of the outputs for the fuel was bad on the computer so i would need a new one, i just bought one but i dont know if it will be here in time, if it doesnt get here in time ill have to go with the one that i have, will the ref not pass me if that battery light is on? ur help is greatly appreciated.

The battery light has to do with the charging system. The charging system has nothing to do with emissions or the safety of the vehicle. With that said you should pass. To be sure you could always pull the dash and remove the bulb.

oh yeah. ur rite. ok now another question, could my surge problem with my computer be related to my alternator? cuz one time when i put my alternator back on i forgot to put the bottom bolt and i drove it for two days and one morning it jolted really bad and my gauges went crazy, it wouldnt show speed then did but rpm gauge showd zero but the engine still ran but idled rough.
