Re: emanage air and fuel adjustment maps
No offense but I don't think you should be messing with it if you do not know how to tune. Also, no one can help you specifically until you give details of your setup. Are you turbo? What type of car is it? If you are turbo how much boost are you running? What turbo are you using? These things will be helpful.
Re: emanage air and fuel adjustment maps
Sir,
So I wrote out this big long technical response and at the end, I deleted it, cause it was f-ing retarded.
Please be careful. Do not play with timing. Do not subtract fuel / airflow without help from a tuner. You really need a wideband 02 hooked up to your eManage (or whatever) to really see whats going on.
If you subtract fuel right now, you could over-lean the mixture(s), leading to knock, leading to auto retarded timing, leading to less power. But you will be wondering whats going on, and why that blue box isnt adding horsepower. Thats how I felt anyway.
Putting in fuel is easy. Getting more air in is the hard part.
Look up a shop with a dyno in your area and go talk to the owner/head tuner person. Paid tuners win races; go look for a tuner with winning race cars.
This probably didnt answer your question, but I dont want to give you any crazy ideas.
