NO WAY, It is a pain in the ***.
I have installed several kits for several people. I say 90% of them hate it after a couple months.
It is cool for a show car but not a daily driver.

this is very true. it looks really nice but its very hard to find a company that make door poppers and solenoids that work for any long period of time. when your battery dies it really sucks trying to get your doors open too. if its a daily driver i would recommend against it you will just regret it in the end.

^^^^anti-theft proof?
So it would be not theft proof.
That is correct.
There is always a wire hidden somewhere, when you pull it it manually opens the door. All shaved kits must have this wire.

Re: To shave or not to shave
i had shaved doors on my ranger, and drove it daily for almost 2 years. it was fun at first, but it gets annoying when people keep asking the saaaame question: "how do you get in?" and then sometimes the solenoid's wouldn't want to work right away (SPAL kit, known to be reliable) and it was almost always when it was raining haha!

Don't shave. I think its retarded when a door doesn't have a handle. Doors are suppose to have handles. No car is theft proof. You have a window that can be smashed and then entered through.
