Hey i got a quick question.. it might sound stupid, but i'm only 16, and don't know a whole lot about civics, or cars. are the new si's (06 and 07) faster than say the 04? i'm thinking about getting a 04 hatch, but i still want it to be as fast as my friend's 07

at least you're honest...im pretty sure the new 06-07 civic si's are faster than those bulky *** hatchback si's... and be careful when you're trying to see whos faster... street racing isnt very safe.. take it to the track and own him! also... there is way more aftermarket support for the si hatchbacks than there is for the new 06 si's.

just don't drive like an idiot. why do people have to preach about street racing. if he wants to be dumb and possible die, its on him. he's going to do it (or not) weather anyone says something or not. i noticed alot of people get touchy about it. how bout if you don't know any better. then you deserve to find out why you shouldn't. thats why there are police to keep people safe and to teach lessons. 
and common you hook up your car to go faster. and your only going to test it on the track.... ****. I'm not spending money every time i wanna punch my car. thats just me tho.

Local police in my town just nabbed 2 idiots racing,
Doing over 120kmh within city limits (50kmh zone),
Both thier cars were impounded for 2 days, and licenses suspended for 15days.
Now this is getting off easy, becasue if they had hit something/somebody this outcome would have been alot worst.
So yea...Take it to the track, cuz the streets.....not fair for anyone in the general public.

thats why only smart people race on abandoned back roads or when there is no one around... there was this long stretch of road that they were building by me for industrial. and something happened with the funding or some **** like that and they stopped working for like 3 or 4 months. and we would go around the barriers and there was 4 lanes. about 2 miles long with NO ONE AROUND. just dirt on ether side. we were there every day at night time racing. no one got hurt. no one in the way smart thinking. basically a track with no time and crowd the only thing you could hit was was each other and at that point you deserve it. lol
