Re: where can i find a diy to remove the front bumper

In the DIY section. 30 seconds of a search using "front bumper removal" - note the quotes - turned it up. This will be locked in a few hours once the mods wake up, but here's the link to DIY which was also in the DIY section. It even has Front Bumper Removal in the title. Gotta use quotes in your searches to narrow down the results.

I hope that bumper is color-matched already and not primer....

I would do that for a few days as well. You have to make sure it fits properly and doesn't need to be shaved/modified at all before painting it.

I can see that, but a few days? It shouldnt change shape THAT much that you would have to keep it on there that long like that. I agree with the post below, fit it, if everything is ok, take it off, send it in for paint. Off topic DeX, hows the dirty souff treatin ya so far? I liked the drive down thread with all the pictures. Maybe some day I will go further than the Mid Atlantic and New England.

Well, I'd like to put the stress on the vehicle to be sure. The body twists pretty good on some turns and I don't know that much about the physical properties of the steel to bypass it so it's all good.

The south is great man, I chilled out last night in the pool while drinking a Bud Light and waiting for my chicken on the barbecue. Life is great when your company pays for everything!

Yeah I can imagine. I lived in Florida for a long time so I know how it goes. The one thing I notice up here is that is gets darker by like 4 pm in the winter so when that time of year comes I am going to work in the dark and leaving in the dark so I have no time to work on anything. It pretty much sucks. I can leave behind the weeks at a time of 90+ though. Try being locked out of your house all day when it is 114 cause you pissed off your mom lol. I remember sometimes trying to take a drink of water from the hose and it was so hot that it burned your face. You kinda had to let it run for a bit.....ahhh...those were the days.
