Light plug dead help please

.. ok so the past couple of days .. my right light (passenger side) has been going on and off .. so i popped the hood today and noticed the plug that plugs into the back of the bulb is like melted and f*ked .. disintegrated and like the wires are loose ... like the plastic is broken .. how could i fix this ?? is this serious problem ?? could i use the individual 3 wires and plug and plug them in?? please help ? i hate not having a light !!

it could be do to the recall honda has put out. the wirring that was used on the head lights was to small and would melt down cuzing the headlights not to work. check with you nearest honda dealer if you havent gotten this problem fixed. this may be your problem. this is for the 01-o3 civic.
