D17a2 Intake Manifold

Does anyone know of a company that makes aftermarket intake manifolds for my D17A2? IF someone could help me out it would be appreciated thanks.

Re: D17a2 Intake Manifold

Gerry at jdmfabtech.com makes a couple of them and dezod.com has one in development that is just about ready (fingers crossed) to be a production model. They aren't/won't be cheap and are really only for boosted applications, but they are out there.

Re: D17a2 Intake Manifold

i ask becuz ur not being specific. it helps to know what you're shooting for when you ask us this type of question. no there are no production made IM for the D17a2. The ones that are custom made are boost-specific as well as the one dezod is developing. if you are just building the motor for boost then good question, if not then ur wasting ur time. and wat do u mean by performance parts.. there are so many parts to a motor that can be upgraded to a performance oriented spec. are u looking for internals..bolt ons, head work.. what? thats why i ask. you can also search.

Re: D17a2 Intake Manifold

No one makes one commercially. You can use a stock Y8 manifold (the aftermarket ones are too long), and mod it to fit or you can make your own. Search on the subject, its all been covered.
