how do i clean an intake filter?
got a short ram intake in and had it in since about 4-5 months and it looks pretty dirty, i was wondering instead of buying a new filter wat can i use to clean it? and how?

it really depend on the make of the intake filter... if its K&N or AEM u can go out and buy a air filter kit made by K&N - from any auto zone or part source, or if ur from canada.. you can go to Canadian tire. i think the air filter kit is about 15.00 cnd

yea.. basicly u jus gotta holes down ur air filter with water than with the solution ..
than u gotta let it dry for like 30-45 mins..
than add the red oil to air filter.. there's instruction when u buy the air filter clean..and i recommand cover the intake tube when taking off the air filter soo no dust/ dirt stuff falls in.. i use a plastic bag with a rubber band to hold it on my gf car
