I just put a new greddy ti-c exhaust on my civic 01 and it worked fine for a bout 2 hours then the next time i tryed to start the car the exhaust just shuts off making the engine to shut off also. So if anyone thinks or knows wats goin on can you please tell me.

somebody threw an egg into ur muffler...

sorry thats the first thing that came to mind becuz someone did that at my school one day to a friend of mine and his car would turn on and off cuz sum1 threw a dam egg thru the muffler. he had to go to an exhaust shop and they had to cut all the way towards the cat to fix the problem. so maybe sumthing sumhow got into ur muffler and is clogging it up. other than that i have no idea why an exhaust would cause the car to shut off.

^^thats a good reason too. but if its a cat-back then it wouldnt throw a CEL...thats very rare.

replace them.. u really have to take ur shop somewhere to find out whats going on.. u can replace o2 sensors urself.. i have and im no ase mechanic so..im sure u can figure it out.
