EM2 Fuel Filter?

EM2 Fuel Filter?
Car is running like shiet, surging rpms. No CEL's so I think I'm gonna replace fuel filter. I know of the fuel pump assembly under the back seats but is the filter there as well? All I can find online is the "fuel screen"? Thanks.
