traction control default on 2015 si

it's annoying how much slower the car reacts when you hit the gas with TC on and it's kinda silly to have to shut it off manually every time you start the car. with it on you hit the gas and the car jumps, falls on it's face, and then accelerates. with it off the car just goes like i'd expect.

is there a way to make it so that traction control is OFF by default?

car is bone stock mint 2015 SI

haha.. i thought about removing the ABS relay, but i'm thinking that'll trigger a message on the warning center plus add an idiot light or two on the cluster (:

With lots of wheelspin?
is there a way to make it so that traction control is OFF by default?
AFAIK no, not on a stock car.
A tuner might be able to change the default but that's not something I deal with.

OTOH, it's JUST ONE BUTTON TO PUSH. First world problems, SMH

haha no. with sticky summer tires and an earth shattering 200hp, traction has never been an issue. we're not clutch-dumping teenagers over here.

Re: traction control default on 2015 si

The people using power adders and custom ECMs or tuners have talked about changing the default traction control setting, but I really didn't follow the threads much.
Might search on 9thgencivic.com or similar?

Re: traction control default on 2015 si

i'd rather not. i like this forum much better. i'll just push the button. it's cheap and simple.

i was just asking in case there was a hidden option in one of the many menus somewhere.

thank you (:
