New traction control
The other day a friend and I were kicking it at his shop..(pro fab) and he was showing me his new bolt in design for a traction control arm that mounts underneith the engine compartment of the car into a stock location( cant go into to much detail...sorry)...he fabracated this for a CRX all done up for race..
Well we tossed the idea around about making one for the 2k1 civic and manufactor them. is this somthing that you think you would buy...
he has since made a few for other cars and such and the reveiws on this thing is wonderful, I was told from a couple of customers that it eliminates wheel hop and keeps the car stiffer then shi^ in turns..
pretty much you can toss out that strut tower bar..cuz this thing kicks that things a$$...or just leave it in for extra sapport....what have you...
but if this is somthing you would be interested in buying then my car goes up on the rack for design...
let me know...i need prof to show him...

So this is just a torque arm? They're pretty common on RWD drag cars... keeps the rear axle down.
Prolly looks a bit like this right?
Or are you just gonna tie the lower suspension together like the X-brace?

I think I know what you are talking about. The Sentra Se-R/Spec-V have a bar under the bottom of the rear for extra support. So it looks sorta like it doesn't have independent suspension in the rear, but the bar is there for traction control. i will try to find a picture. Did he make something like that for the front?
