So I have a 2009 Civic hybrid. It runs well, it sometimes shutters a bit while accelerating but that’s very minimal. But today, I was driving and it shuttered much harder than normal, almost like the car wanted to burst out accelerating but the brake was not letting the car from doing so. So I quickly pulled over and right then and there, the engine gave out. Like it literally turned off. The check engine light turned on with the VSA, ! Light, IMA, and TPMS, and brake system light. Also the green light next to Drive turned off which is weird because I didn’t put the car into park yet, I was just holding on the brake. I then put the car into park, tuned off the car, waited for a few minutes, turned it back on and the lights still came up but the car could change gears. It was stuck! I then turned off the car waited some more and turned it back on and the lights went away but the check engine light was still on. And so I decided to see what would happen if I drive a little to see what would happen. And guess what? Same thing happened. I ended up leaving the car and calling an Uber. Any help guys?
