2013- "Drone" Sound under Hood
Statrted about 2 days ago. Sounds like an echo that gets older when I accelerate. Alternator was replaced about 5 months ago and I had no issues when I changed that. Sounds as if coming from the alternator or pulley/ belt. Can anyone diagnose off of this video of it? (Attached Video but new to site so I apologize if it didn't work). Keep in mind the noise is the FAINT noise in the background, not the usual "clicking" the belt makes. Thanks for your help

Howdy! Replaced it with a Napa branded one (No idea who made it). The noise ended up being from the bearing on the alternator so I sent my Christmas Eve changing out the alternator for the second time in one year haha. Ill keep the post up because the video may help someone decipher the source of the sound themselves. Thanks for the question
