Fuel pump for 2006 1.8L

Hi All,

My 2006 has done 220K and I don't want to get caught with a fuel pump breakdown. Should I be changing it at this mileage? and long do these go for? I have mainly long distance if that counts.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Fuel pump for 2006 1.8L

It is not a GM, it is not a GM fuel pump.

I can count all of the truly bad Honda fuel pumps I have replaced in the last 10 years on ONE hand, and have several fingers left over.

But I can't predict the future.

If you really want to replace it, get a factory unit. MSRP is about $354 USD, you can find it a little cheaper on several dealer websites.
Don't bother to replace it with aftermarket JUNK, you will only be installing the very problem you are worrying about.
