Brakes pulsing at high speed
Brakes pulsing at high speed
I have a 2008 Civic LX with 114,000 miles. The past month or so I have noticed my brakes pulsing when I am braking at highway speeds, such as when I slow on an exit ramp. It only happens at highway speeds, for the most part. I took off the front wheels, and the rotors appear to be smooth, and there is good tread left on my front pads. There is no noise associated with braking, just the pulsing on the brake pedal when slowing from 70 mph or so. Any thoughts on what this could be? Thanks.

Re: Brakes pulsing at high speed
You wont be able to detect rotor warp with the naked eye. I had the same problem about a year back, I machined my rotors and replaced the brake pads and all was well.
