Speakers not working. Help!

Hello all.

I drive a Honda civic lx 2006 model. I have had it for little over a year. Just recently I noticed that every speaker on the left side of the car no longer works. Does anyone have a clue as to why and if so, how can I fix it?

Re: Speakers not working. Help!

Probably blown/broken.

Open up the door panel and inspect em.
If it's blown, just buy new speakers.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Adjust the "balance" setting back to center.

I can't tell that from here.

You probably wouldn't believe how much "operator error" I see on a regular basis.

Look in the trunk at the bottoms of the speakers, see if either of the wire connectors got knocked off the speaker frame and is shorting the braided leads against the metal.
Careless package loading can do this on many cars.
