Hi, I'm trying to help my buddy who has an 09 civic. He wants to wire footwells with his dome light, and I was just wondering if anyone could direct me to a picture of where the wire is and what color it is.

As my username suggests, I don't have a civic but I want to help him with his, so any help is appreciated

His civic is an ex coupe

The easiest access is a 2 pin/2 wire connector attached to the side of the under dash fuse box on drivers side. The wire colors are PINK & LT BLUE.

By any chance, would you be able to take a picture of it or direct me to one? I tried searching but didn't get results I wanted.

Also, I'm not exactly sure what a 2pin/2 wire connector is, but would I be able to ttap to that wire?

This thread shows the fuse box, you will have a 2 pin connector separate going to the dome.

I suggest slicing insulation, wrapping new tap around and soldering myself.
