It should say on the trunk lid... if the emblem that says DX/LX/EX/SI isnt there, then you can get it from the door jam or VIN number. If its an Si, you can tell by the number stamped on the block by the cylinder head.

newer civics dont have trim emblems anymore. easiest way is if it has moonroof, its the EX. if not, its either lx/dx or something inbetween. if it has power everything, its prolly lx or sport version.

The Si has a red dash when lit up and an "Si " emblem on back.
The EX usually has a sub woofer abd tail pipe chrome finisher - look at the tailpipe. You should also have 16" alloy 5 spoke wheels. and arear sway bar and rear discs. Blue dash board as well ( not red)
The LX and other models may have options a mentioned above , but the EX is uspposed to have all options.
I am not 100% sure a sunroof is on every EX. May be wrong about that one.
