Ruber tab on window
Ruber tab on window
Tried to search for an answer but came up with nothing. I have a 2007 Civic Coupe DXG. On the outside of the window frames there are, as best as I can describe, rubber tabs. Coupes have them, but the sedans do not. Anyone know what they are for and if possible if they can be removed for a cleaner look?
Thanks
Thanks

Hahahahahahahaha that mysterious thing is to help your window align in the correct position when you roll it up at high speeds or when the window track is old and worn. This is asked a lot on the the 8th Gen forums.

Re: Ruber tab on window
yeah basically because the window is too big (sedans are smaller) and without that piece there is a chance the window can come out of its track and not roll up completely.
