Engine Troubles 2006 Ex
My wife has owned her civic which now has 60k miles on it for just over 2 months and we are having some troubles with it. First the battery went dead 2 weeks ago overnight from ?????? while camping in the Mountains. Next it has a hard time at idle randomly and occasionally dies or seems to misfire while sitting at stop lights. Also the AC seems to not work occasionally during this (not sure if its connected or not) and now the CHECK GAS CAP warning is flashing. ANY help would be awesome, I am pretty handy in the garage with motors as I am a MX racer but I have no clue where to start with this Honda

Actually sounds like a bad battery that is not supplying enough power. I'd take the battery and have it load tested, or just out right replace it. Is the battery original??
As for the check gas cap, it could just be that... a faulty gas cap, or a loose one for that matter. (assuming you did not check it was tight.)
