Just got a new 2010 Civic DX-VP on Dec 30th. Car is great except for one thing. Sometimes when I start the engine like first thing in the morning or after sitting all day I notice a slight knock when I turn the key as the engine is turning. Car will always start fine. Just recently the car will also jerk slightly. Sometimes I also hear a small squeaking sound too. I though it was due to the very cold weather we were having but it has been happening in the warmer weather. It is intermittent and can go a few days without happening. I tried to record it but every time I get set up it won't do it. This only happens on initial start up and after that the car runs great. I want to take it back to the dealer but I would like to have some more information before I go. Any one experience this or have any ideas what it could be?

might be a belt noise since its cold.

Take it back, everything is covered under warranty.
