red light neutral or gear + brake
Is is advised to pu tthe car in neutral at long red lights or simply braking with the automatic in drive is good. automatic in question... cause the car in D has a tendency to go in front nad you stop it with the brake.. cant be good for the engine. Or is it smart enough to go to neutral when I stop completly

on hot days, putting it in neutral at lights will cool down the trans fluid a bit and is good to do. in the winter it doesnt matter.

I usually pop it on neutral when i brake or am at the light for some time. I use neutral a lot, especially when i drive fast and brake.
