paragon honda service

My 2007 civic just hit 30000 and am getting to shed out some bucks at the service department. Anyone has had any experience with Paragon Honda service in Queens. Any other place recommended in NY/Long island.

I would be checking all the fluid levels this weekend. I did the tire rotating and balancing a few weeks back (for a long trip to toronto) so that wont be needed. Alignement is also not needed.

I think only the fluid top off, engine oil change, oil filter, tranny fluid change, ac filter (will do myself), and the inspection things would be required.
Any clues how much would dealer charge for that. Any additional crap he tells to fix might just tell him to ignore and do the above.
What say you?

Re: paragon honda service

i would never pay the dealer for an "inspection" or mileage service. all they do is maybe $100 worth of fluid changes and then charge you $500 for basically looking at the bottom of the car.

My friend bought an accord from Paragon and got ripped off. I agree the sales side is bad. Idk about the service tho.

Re: paragon honda service

Did not like the sales people there so I went to Bay ridge Honda and bought my car.... but that was 2.5 yrs ago.
The Bay Ridge service has been okay... the only fault is they don't ever follow up with a call to inform you of anything. I had to call them every time, even when they said they will check and call me right back.

I got a good feel from them, but then again nothing was coming from pocket on my trips to them.
