key question

Is there anyway to make it where your car can be locked and unlocked from more than about 10 ft away? I have an 06 ex and I cant lock or unlock it until I am basically right up against it. I had a chevy truck before my car that could lock and unlock 150+ ft away. Its really annoying when I am walking into work and am 20 ft away and have to turn around and lock it. Maybe its a safety feature I dunno but I have replaced the battery thinking maybe that would help but it didnt. My buddy has an 08 ex with the same way so is my assumption that all civics are that way anymore and there is nothing that can be done?

Re: key question

mine's more than 20ft....depending on area, interference, and strength of the transmitter...too many variables...

but that's too short...but the modules aren't that expensive if you want to give it a try.
