normal or missing a part?

just picked up this 09 civic and under the hood there is a rubber barrier on the hood left side but not the right. Is this normal?

yeah some cars only have pad on one side. may want to check another new car just to be sure.

Gearbox is right go back to the dealer and check some of the other cars in stock, I have a 08 4 door Black EXL and I have padding under the hood so I'm not sure if Honda's doing that to cut corners or what.

checked 4 cars at a dealer today - all missing the right side - either it's std procedure or there is some type of conspiricy going on at my dealer...Hmmmm


J/K....looks like that's the way 09 coupes roll...
