remote control trunk opener
I have a civic LX sedan 2007, bought it new. Just to clarify (as standard equipment has changed for 2009) it has remote door locks and an alarm button on the key. The car does not have a remote trunk release nor a button for it on the remote.
I searched the forum but the subject was foggy when it comes to what I want to do.
I would like to add a remote trunk opener, and I have looked at several. They all seem to be pretty much the same, and provide little detail. I do not want to use an internal button. I want to use a fob to open the trunk that does not use "one code fits all." I also do not want to install a different alarm system either.
Can this be done, has anyone done this?
