Just got the car!!!
Ok, so picked up the car this morning, drove it all day almost 200k picked it up with only 8km.
I bought this car site unseen, never driven a honda(owned two intergras previously), and all can say is I LOVE IT
It is so hard to keep the revs downs during the break in. I was bad twice today. hit 145km on the Hwy 400, and hit the redline twice. Going back out later tonight to do some late night crusin, maybe head downtown for a bit. Will try and keep it under 5000 rpm.
The engine revs so smoothly, and Honda has done a great job on the exhaust note. Shifting gears is well....dare I say it.....fun.
So far so good........and looking forward to breaking it in, and really unwinding the thing.

i also have an 07 si coupe and i want all you owners to check something on your car for me. I have found clear coat runs at 4 points on my car. Where the bumpers meet the fender front and rear there are runs that appear the bumper was hung to be painted (running toward the wheels horizontally). I bought the car new with 7 miles on it and i am wondering if it has already had paint work prior to my purchase which is a big problem.

Hey Racer,
interesting note about clear coat runs. Once I get some of the Salt and road grime off my car I will have a very close look and get back to you. I may even post some pictures. With Hondas quality control, it very interesting that those paint runs would end up on the car....just my thought.

just a quick follow up to my question last night. I returned to the local Honda dealer this morning to address my issue, there just happened to be a new black Si on the lot that had the exact same clear coat runs as mine does. So I guess that answered my question. Kinda dissapointed that Honda would let this type of thing thru their quality control.
